Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from an accredited college / university

  • 4-year engineering degree preferred

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in a related technology

Position Scope:

The Manager, Asset Management will lead a team (3 – 8 people) and is responsible to ensure that the Asset Management System is functioning. The primary focus is on governance, process design, procedures, equipment reliability, optimizing asset health/asset life expectancy, Asset Management Standards documentation and training. The position requires the management of several diverse functions/activities including process design & development, strategy, risk management. The position requires coordination with other teams within the A&PM organization, with all businesses & essential support groups within the US SBU, and will align functions/activities to the global AM process and all other SBU's. This position requires driving the A&PM process. Under limited guidance will make important decisions based on effective feedback and advice through effective communication (local & global).

Must be willing to travel infrequently (< 10%) to various business sites across the US SBU.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team in design and review of the Asset Management System - AM gap analysis, AM working groups, sets the parameters under which decisions are made

  • Responsible for Asset Life Cycle Plan (ALCP) structure & content development and forecasting on SharePoint (web based dashboard) site for all assigned asset systems

  • Continuously improve the ALCP tool suite and develop training materials & host training sessions at businesses across the US SBU

  • Defines, implements, and manages the Base Maintenance Plan (BMP) , Asset Health Index (AHI) & Risk Management Process associated with all assigned asset systems

  • Develop a roadmap to ISO 55001 certification

  • Design and implementation of a Leading Indicator Monitoring tool (dashboard)

  • Provides GADS analysis and reporting/benchmarking

  • Provide support to Investment Planning, Asset Supply Chain Management, Management of Change (MOC) process, APEX Continuous Improvement process

  • Assists the Performance team with developing specific KPI targets for all assigned asset systems

  • Participate in the Asset Management global working groups
